Thank you for taking an interest in joining Healing Horizons. We are currently interested in hiring Trainee Counsellors and Qualified Counsellors.

Trainee Counsellor

Trainee Counsellors
  • Readiness for placement letter from your college or institute
  • Currently studying at an accredited institute or college
  • Registered as a student membership with BACP or NCPS
  • A reference from your current college tutor
  • Insurance documentation
  • Letter from your supervisor to confirm you are in supervision
  • Be able to see up to 4 clients per week
  • Copy of a DBS check (If you don’t have one, please disclose.)
  • Commitment for 6 months
  • Please state if you want to work hybrid, online, or in-person

Qualified Counsellor

Qualified Counsellors
  • If you’re looking to be paid whilst setting up a private practice or you don’t want the responsibility of private practice, get in touch.
  • Copies of your counselling or psychotherapy certificates
  • DBS checked
  • Current membership with BACP or NCPS
  • References
  • A commitment to work for 6 months
  • Committed to working with a minimum of 2-plus clients per week
  • Paid work starts from £25.00 per hour; this increases with your client load.
  • Insurance
  • An agreement to work with a minimum of 2 clients per week
  • Flexible working online and in-person
